I skipped last week’s Screenshot Saturday because there wasn’t a lot of visual progress to show.

Aside from bug-fixing and making Metazelda require less backtracking, one of my main achievements this week has been adding the concept of themes to the dungeon generator. Themes currently control the color and the name of the level. When I have the content for it, it will also control the tiles that the map generator uses (water tiles, for example) and maybe the boss too.

I’ve also added pushable blocks and puzzles that use them:

The puzzles are trivial at the moment, but I’m working on a sokoban puzzle generator based on this paper.
